leaking water pump

so i have a line on my first XJ, but it has a leaky water pump. this rig is out of state, and i'm wondering how far i can make it with the pump like that, or if i need to repair it right then. thanks!

No way to predict how long it will last, so why chance it. Fix it before you start driving it home.
