Overpriced Speedo Gear.

What's going on with the mark up on speedometer gears. they went from 14 bucks to 80 bucks in a few months. Is there anywhere that's still selling them for cheap? Everywhere online and even the local dealer is around 80$. Any suggestions?

Found the same issue. Prices are really high right now. Cheapest I have found so far is 58+ shipping from Chrysler parts direct.

Just called up partsmike and placed an order. cost me 40 total with shipping and tax. not cheap by any means, but better than the 79 quoted from the dealer.

morris is 70 without shipping and i couldn't find anything on cyberjeep. can't imagine any naxja discount bringing morris's price down to 40.

The reason is the manufacture that made them went out of buisness as of recently and there has not been a new supplyer to pick up the AW4 transmission. So with no supply and with demand price goes up.
