Roll Cage in SoCal?

Has anyone had a Roll Cage installed that lives in SoCal? If so where did you go, how much did you pay, and can I see some pictures, please. Im going to start saving for one, but I have no idea of the cost.

I see on the T&J Performance web site they sell for $699, but I have not asked about how much installation is. Anyone have any clues?

I posted up something before on a bolt in cage that was $1000 in the picture forum. People were saying that I could get one made for $1000 or less that is welded in. Let me know, thanks guys.

Heck, I should take you up on that deal! I have a D&C cage sitting in my garage now. I would also like some lessons on using my bender too. I have some of the basics down but need to learn the tricky stuff and shortcuts, etc.
Getting too damn expensive to keep ruining tube.

I would rather have the T&J over the D&C BUT I HATE T&J's. SO.....

Do thier Rockcrawler version if you do go T&J... And use a plate at the bottom of the floor at each location and tie it to the frame stiffners / unibody rails in each floor location. Then add triangulation here and there...

But, was there some drama with the guy that owns that company? I think I remember reading something about it.

Well theres about 230$ of tube in a DOM 1.5x.120 cage I would guess at. Thats 80' at 2.85$/ft. Or about 150$ more for a chomo tube in 1.5x.083". So if your going to buy a pre-bent cage at around 550-700$ that needs about another 20' of tube that will need to be bent also, not to mention the "pre made" may need some small cuts and notches also, I found that I should have just did a complete custom one. I can do the fab and bending but still thought that maybe the S&W pre-bent and notched cage would save me some time and $. Well in the end I came to the conclussion I should have just did the whole thing. Hell I did half of what I ended up with anyways.

Yeah, its not that bad though. None of the windows broke, and there seems to be nothing wrong with the suspension. I have not really looked at it fully yet, but I will this weekend. There is a good amount of body damage but none of the main pillars are damaged. I was a slow roll and according to insurance "When there is damage on all body panels it is considered a total loss" so basically I have a paid off Jeep now.

The only thing that is wrong is I think that the mechanical fan may be contacting the schroud a little. I'll have a look at that this weekend because I want to TRY and go to JV.=)

No prob. I have been planning on joining forever but didn't want to take the time to fill out the paperwork. Then I saw the address that I could PayPal the $ to and did it the same night.

haha no thanks on that rear bumper for now. Im just going to throw the spare in the back because i honestly think that was the straw that broke the camels back, sort of say on that roll. It was so frekin slow initially going over if it was not there it would probably not have happened.

I have pics of right after it happened but those are at home. Here are the damage pictures. They called it to total loss so its mine now and I have no more payments =)

I really don't see much damage! Of course I don't work for a bodyshop or an insurance company. Did/will your rates go up for insurance?

Im assuming they will. They paid off the $7K loan. If they go up to much I can switch and hopefully find a cheaper company.

Ditto! If you have to take the pictures a couple inches away from the body to show damadge detail, you got away easy. My current rig looks waaaaay worse, and it's never been rolled.

Yeah, and it is just body damage.
All I really want to do is get some touch up paint for the spots on the roof where the paint chipped away so that it does not start to rust.

None of the suspension components bent and it still drives strait as an arrow.
