I thought it looked alright but the fact that it only went for 25 bucks makes me nervous.

This crankshaft is being sold as a core only.

All journal surfaces will require polishing before the crank is placed into service. The main journal suraface diameters are about 3.492 inch. The rod journal surface diameters are about 2.086 inch. I was going to use this crank to build a stroker engine for my Jeep. .

I saw that too. My point is, because he is contradicting himself, why not email him and ask him to clarify?

well, what I want to know is if those measurements are OK. If it just needs to be polished up that's fine, it sounds like he's just covering his ass and was going to use it himself and found a better one.
for 50 bucks shipped it's probably worth the risk.
