I saw these disc brakes on a 9". Are they an easy swap to the truck axle???

The little research I did says they have a 5 on 5" lug pattern with 28 spline shafts. Other than the flange on the pinion, the punkin is not special: 1:2.75 gears, open, yuk!!!

I ask you because I know you have messed around with discs on a 9".

Let me guess a Lincoln Versailles axle? I don't know how hard they would be to swap. I know that is swap that can be done into a Jeep as far as the whole axle. The width of that axle is pretty close to a stock Jeep axle. I bet with a little imagination and welder you could make them work. I have only come across that axle a couple times in my life. I used have 72 Maverick I was going to turn into a Grabber. So I was looking for Granada/Versailles axle for the 9 inch and disc brakes.

My buddy is looking to SAS his Ranger, wants a 44/9 combo. I'm not sure of how wide he wants to go, or what gear ratio he wants. I just saw discs and got all excited! LOL

If he doesn't take it, that might be an easy way to get 4-wheel discs on my F-100. :D

This one is going to bug me...

It might be just right for a F100. Little wide for a ranger but might work.
