AW4 tranny

so headin up to cold water we ended up blowin my tranny I think. I had just finished installing an intercooler for the tranny just in the last couple of days... we made it up the snow shed hill no problem, but as soon as we turned off at cold water and drove for maybe half a click it ended up grinding and not engaging to ANY gear.... I think my tranny is blown.... We ended up getting towed home.

The fluid is good, no problems there, doesn't grind in neutral or park, but any time when I put it in drive or any other gear it grinds!!

Is my tranny blown? I'd like to know before I start ripping it apart to get a new one...

Also, check the transer case.

I had the transfer case in neutral and it did the same thing....
