my 98 has developed what I can only describe as a kind of a growling noise from the front end. Yesterday I put all new tie rods including the heavy duty ZJ rod on hoping maybe that the old tie rods were at fault. Not even close although I do feel better about wheeling this coming weekend. Anyway I lay down in front while my buddy turned the wheels back and forth and this kind of growling noise seems to be coming from the steering box, anyone here had trouble with that?
