no 4 wheel low

just tried my 4 wheel lo today and no go shifter feels like its not doing anything. suggestions? 4 hi works though 98 xj aw4 `````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````

Adjust the linkage underneath and see what happens.

Also check to see if theres anything underneath the handle. Mine had over $5 in change underneath it, guess previous owner's kid thought it would be great fun to drop spare change in and watch it dissappear...
