CB Antenna

You really don't want one of those. They are good only of you sit still. Most everywhere else they suck, including in the woods. Many Off-Road parks have an antenna height restriction to prevent your antenna from picking the eyeballs out of the crowd of ATVers watching you.

yeha if you don't plan on using it on the trail a 10' whip is good for you but you should look into a good 4 or 5 foot fiberglass unit. I have a wilson 4ft antenna that i acquired in a trade its a nice unit . I mounted it on the driver side of my bumper. while not the most ideal spot it works great on the trail and its decent on the interstate.

arnt steel whips longer than x feet (8 i think it it) not allowed on NAXJA runs?

i have a 3' base load wilson 2000. once tuned to the radio it works great.

I don't know if its written or not but not a lot of people want to see huge whips on the trail!
