Sadly, I have none. All I have is a picture of a small lake blocking our passage into Hells Revenge with no one in it.

Yeah, same puddle. Saturday morning I slept in and missed golden crack, so I dropped in with the hells revenge guys for a second run of the trail. I tried the center and obviously didn't make it. Derek came along about 15 minutes later and tried the left and made it a little further, but started sliding into the middle and shut off the engine before it hydrolocked. While Derek and I were drying out and Bob and (Tracy?) were helping me clean the water out of mine, an H1 made it along the left, another on the right and then a few CJs and Wranglers also made it on the right.

Disassemble all the shafts and drivelines and lube all ujoints. Change front and rear diff fluids. Change transfer case, transmission, and motor oil.

But mostly, clean clean clean out the inside. I've probably got 50 pounds of sand in there still.

Well then..

I've been saying it was up to my rockers on Thursday but if it was that high on yours I guess it was up the doors a bit with the Chief.

All I gotta do is unload and check the diffs for water. If they look good I'm done.

Dropped the cover today...nice pretty silver fluid came out. Aussie appears to be intact without broken teeth, R&P look good. I only had an hour to play with it, but it appears teh driver side is not unlocking. The popping was it finally releasing. I guess tomorrow I'll pull it all out. I hope all the silver was just the teeth on the aussie wearing in for the first time.

So how well does a tranny running chocolate milk shake as a lubricant work? I imagine the drive home was interesting.

It ran OK. There was just a little water that clouded the oil. Not foamy.

We moved it out aweek this last year to accomidate several coming from back east. But, based on most comments there is a good chance it will be the last week in april again next year.

Don't quote me on that.

If the subject does come up a few times it might help get the dates set. :anon:

Dave, are you still on 3 1/2 inches of lift? Did you do any trimming? Still need this leaf spring?

I'm thinking hard about just going to 33's rather than the same intermediate steps you did at 31's. My lift came out at about 3", but I wouldn't mind going to 4 1/2 to get the 33's. I'm looking at either 9.5 or 10.5 wide too, that should help some as well.

I'm at 5". Anything lower then 5" and you must embrace the sawall.
The trimming I did was about 1 inch on the bottom back of the front. If you look you can see where the outer panel sits about 1 inch forward of the inner panel. Just trimmed that and pushed the flare back. I also added a 3" bump stop up front to keep the wheel off the top of the fender.
After longer control arms and new tires I'll have to check it out and make adjustments. I'll sure to be trimming the front up to the light. The back will get some bump stop extensions to keep the tire off the innter wheel well.

It did not seam to have leaked on the trip down or at least not much. Went for dinner and heard a hissing sound from the last tire mounted. The pressure had dropped to about 20 lbs and the bead was leaking. Had it cleaned up, reseated with some bead seal and it was good to go. One spot on the bead of that tire is in bad shape. I expect that was the problem.
