Removing the sentry alarm

Is there an actual way to completely remove this from the computer or whatever it's connected too?

I picked up a donor XJ and it has the stock security system. I know I can ground out a wire, but that probably won't work in my favor. Would this work even if I had to reconnect the battery? (Newb question) Not much for wiring but I figure since I will have the computer and harness out, I may as well delete this annoying tidbit.

What year XJ, the newer ones can be turned off with the Chrysler scan tool, you just have to drill down in the menus to find the correct page.
