i have a 97 xj with the infinity sound system and was wondering if the factory amp will still work once i install a aftermaket cd deck and use the wireharness from best buy so i dont have to hardwire it in. Anyone done this before? Did you have to rewire the speakers or was there a way to get the amp to work? Thanks

Just run the speaker wires from the new unit to the amp input. Should be good to go.

There should be a harness for it so you can use your factory amp. There will be a harness for XJ's with infinity sound and one for XJ's without factory infinity.
