CUTTING OUT!?

What could be the problem with my heep cutting out? It happens very occasionally. But its very frustrating and worries me. New motor less then 2000 miles ago. There is no specific time as to when it does it like going up a hill or anything or a certain speed. Popped the hood and i herd little SHH SHH SHH noises... PLEASE HELp!

Mine did that for over a year. Replaced the CPS and hasn't happened since.

Is there a way to check the cps. I believe this is probably it because when I start it sometimes it dies as soon as i let go of the key.

thats a sign that the ignition switch at the base of the column is bad or the rod is out of adjustment.
