Personally, I don't see the problem. A soft drink named after a drug is still better than a softdrink that was actually made from the same drug. Kids know the difference. Its a tongue in cheek reference not unlike Death Cigarettes. I can't imagine its sales and usage is going to affect actual Cocaine usage.

The upset ninnies clearly know little about drug addiction processes and theory. Saying that it 'glamorizes' drug usage is a bit much in my opinion. What about all of the 'glamorization' of every other insidious product that has an obvious impact upon society?

To me, the reaction to this is representative of the culturally-bound values of those espousing their reaction. Its not really ironic to see this kind of reaction in an area that has the tightest drug regulation policies in the free world.

That's a great point, Beej, but my kids still aren't gonna drink it anymore than I let them drink "Pimp Juice".
And it's not because I don't want them turning into pimps, either.:D
