Beginner's Start

I have an unmod 99, with the thought of making a start with a 3 3.5 lift. Mostly Street machine. Should I go for 31's or 33's?

Would I have to extend my driveshaft? What would be a good beginner's kit/recommendation for someone like me?

Minimal cost/best value for a starter.

a 2" budget boost and 31s would be the cheapest for beginner

A straight 3" kit is fairly cheap too, but stick with 31's.
