I'm trying to get it out to check the connections to see if that may be causing my cold miss/stumble. It is attached to a bracket, but how and where is the bracket attached to the vehicle?

And also it is a Bendix ECU made in France. It doesn't say RENIX on it anywhere. Is this a replacement?

Everything under this dash looks brand new and very clean to be 16 years old!

That is the renix ecu. Threre are small bolts near top and back have to feel for them. not easy to undo.

Not sure about the miss, but RENIX is all made by Bendix. Some parts are marked RENIX, some are marked Bendix - but it's all made by Bendix/King.

Most RENIX ECU's I've seen seem to be marked Bendix more than anything else.
