I've been messing around with my GPS for the past half our, customizing it. My vehicle marker is my Jeep. Not to mention the bootup image. :D

I just finished my P5q with intel quad, I guess it's fast, never seen service pack 2 processed from start to reboot in under 3 minutes before :shock
I barely had time to run upstairs to take a leak and get more coffee.

What TomTom did you do that with? Also do you care to share how?
I have a TomTom as well, and even though I despise it (it got me lost and pulled over the other day), I might try and do this.

I actually prefer AMD, I just ordered this MB for a customers machine that I built 2 years ago, shipped the original Asus back for warranty repair, things got screwed up, lost it, TWICE in shipping. I finally bought the P5Q and his repaired board came in the day before the P5Q got to the house. I had it on my shelf for a couple of months, picked up some memory for it and a nice video card, waffled on the processor till the prices came down two weeks ago. Going to allow me to retire one of my intel D850 boards/PC's.

I'll post up a link to some instructions TomTom put out, but its pretty simple. I'm in a more "interactive" class so I have to make it seem like I'm paying attention so I can't be searching for it right now. In a few horus when I'm done. :D

Nice, thats good to hear. Ive actually been thinking of going to a Biostar 790GX instead of the normal ASUS route i take. we'll see once i save up about $500 - $600 dollars ill have my new setup. For now its a for sure X4, and dual 4830s, 4G of G. Skill, and as for anything else its still up in the air. Id like to go to SSDs but theyre jsut too expensive right now. i cant really justify it.
OP: Sorry for the thread jack :D
