With Olympus now in the bag, the focus goes to mid-may and the 2009 Oregon Trail Rally.

Atypical of previous years events which normally locates us in the Tillamook Forest for two days after a Friday night at the Portland Raceway, we'll instead be heading east toward Hood River.
Mark your calendars. The action starts on May 15th at Portland International Raceway. There is an admission charge for the PIR portion of the event, probably something like 8-10 bucks per person.
Some of you may want to volunteer as road marshalls, often it will position you in a non-spectator area that ends up being a great place to watch photograph the race. Check out this link for that. http://www.oregontrailrally.com/volunteers.html
All of the details as far as spectator guides, schedules, stages, etc... have not yet been fully determined, so keep watching the website as it progresses.
