Yakima Ski rack on a surco

Does anyone have a ski rack on top of thier surco rack? if so how did you get it to work. Also I have an idea to make cross bars but dont know if Yakima makes any mighty mounts for square tubing.

Yakima now sells their racks with mounts that can be used on both their round bars as well as their competitor's rack, Thule. There are 4 removable tabs that convert it from round to rectangular. Not sure of the Thule bar size, but I would imagine you could make it work with a Surco.

yeah, if the yakima clamps don't fit, just go to a huge outdoor store that has every single little part in stock for both yakima and thule, and you'll find some clamp that will do the trick for ya! Or you could just drill holes in the metal.
