I just picked up a freshly rebuilt Chryco 8.25 27 spline, and then in a separate deal I picked up a freshly rebuilt 29 spline Trac Loc and 29 Spline axles. What I need is someone to put the gears off of the 27 spline carrier onto the Trac Loc, and re-setup the gears. The axle housing, and everything is out of the truck so it should be a fairly easy swap. I just wanted to get it all done before I installed it.

I have kinda a noob but related question. If I buy a 29 spline lockrite and 29 spline shafts for my 27 spline 8.25 axle will I need anything else to convert it to 29 spline?

nope thats is exactly what x2 is doing, and actually is you have a 27 spl lockright already they will sell you just the outer plates you need that are 29 spline :D

Thanks!

I haven't bought a locker yet, I need to pull my shaft to verify that I have a 27 spline since my xj is a 1996 and some claim 96 had 27 and some had 29.
