96 XJ with RE 5.5" LA lift... the stocks that came with my lift kit are so blown is pathetic.

One of them came off while wheeling the other day and the shock fell in on itself instead of pushing out. LMAO.

I need some new shocks on the CHEAP. Is $44.95 an OK price? They didnt say who made them.

Also what size of shock will I need?

Take extended/collapsed measurements, ask the guy at the counter at Advance/NAPA/OReilly's for the Monroe book. In the back there is a table for shocks by measurement.

Gas-matic LTs usually run ~ $20-$40/ea. and work just fine.

Pro Comp ES3000's you can get for $100 for all 4 from 4WP. They'll want to charge you $150 for all 4, but just call the corporate hq # and tell them you'll buy them over the phone right then if they do it for $100. I did that a few months ago, came w/ shock boots too, shipped for free to the nearest 4WP store.
