Just asked him for his addy. Anyone wanna go halvsies on a stripper rig? I'd be mainly interested in e-door parts, wiring, and dash-type stuff (as spares for another rig that I am going to keep...)

I have a 1995 XJ (sport trim) chassis.
The interior is unmolested, everything is there.
all of the interior plastic is intact.
The seats are in good shape, a little dirty though.
The body is white in color, with black fender flares.
The doors are in great shape, and the windows are perfect.
The rear hatch is in excelent shape, glass is perfect.
The hood is undamaged, the fenders are in great shape.
The front clip is undamaged.
There is no drivetrain attached to the chassis. If you have a trailer, it can be hand loaded with a couple of guys.
Best of all it's FREE if you want to drive up and get it.

OK - the rig on Craigslist is in Santa Clara. I'm willing to help with stripping for some parts, and if I can get a few things pointed in the right direction around here, I might get the thing myself.
Any takers? You'll either need a towbar to haul with a "one-trip" pass from DMV, or a flatbed tow truck. I can run "tail-end Charlie" if you're going to flat tow as well...

Not yet. I hadn't committed to picking it up yet (he said he'd had some flakers...) since I wasn't sure what was going on here.
If you just need a D35, I should have one soon, since I've got an 89 I need to pull to bits. It may have Trac-Lok - if it does, it's going under my 88 (and you can have the open one.) If you're not in any huge hurry.
Sound good?

Yeah, that sounds like a good plan!
No hurry here, got to get the engine back in this weekend. :)
