Just got home from watching the latest movie from the Fast and Furious series. Not bad! Lots of speed, burnouts, crashes, explosions, muscle cars, baja trucks, imports and even some guns.
Since it doesn't official open most places until Friday night, I won't post any details... But I liked it! Obviously, a good bit of impossible stuff they had the cars do, but it was enjoyable and most of the people watching wouldn't know the difference.

Kinda sounds like this one might almost be good, but I'm a bit disapointed that the defiled the CHarger with a small block shivvey and phoney blower instead trying to get the Hemi to work.

I like seeing the cars, and the half naked chicks. Paul Walker is a turd though. I'll probably see it this weekend.

"Tran's got two spoon engines, motegi exhaust in there."
Motegi (http://www.motegiracing.com/) doesn't even build exhausts, they build rims!
Found this; disturbing but funnay!

Is there a difference between these two? Or actually the movie, surfboards/cars.

^ Yep. Surfing > Ricers imho. Also imho, Swayze/Reeves > Diesel/Walker; mostly because of 'Paul "No Personality" Walker.'

I'll take Point Break anyday of the week over the Fast and Furious bunch. The movies are just almost exactly alike, all they did was swap surfboards for cars.

I read in Hot Rod that one Charger was a true hemi and the blower worked. It was the car they used for the close-ups.

Actually this movie is set between the first and second movies in the series. This explains the back stories of what led up to the 2nd and third movies. I'm going to see it tonight but am skeptical... havin diesel back in it will make it interesting... I just wish it could be a rated R lol
