Gear Install HOW-TO (pdf)

There have been a lot of questions lately about how to do a gear-install, pattern checks, etc. I've seen a few here and gotten more than usual in my PM box. (which, is odd, I'm not a gear guy and not known for it).

I mentioned it to a vendor today, and they sent me a url to a pretty decent install guide they provide for their customers, and gave me permission to post it up here.

Check it out, if you feel inclined. If nothing else, it will help you figure out if this is a job to tackle at home or to pay a professional for.
