All years were available with a Trac-Loc,dont confuse this with a locker, youll be very dis-appointed!

I've seen them in the Dana 44 that was available on the early XJ as part of the HD tow package. They are going to be in the small carrier. If you are planning on staying with smaller tires it would be worth while. Good Luck

Ya know I kinda wondered how you would tell from the outside of the carrier what it was. Is there a way to tell with out cracking the cover??? Do you have to put an additive in on a Trac-Loc?? My 90 kinda chatters when i turn corners under power. Im prolly just gonna crack the case to see whats up in there.

You can't tell from the outside unless the tag is still wrapped around the axle. Or there is a tag in the glove box. On a 90 I doubt if either is still there. If you have a LSD you need to put the additive in. I don't know if lack of it will cause chattering, but it will not work without it. JIM.

Most all rear axle lube as the additive just read the label, it don't do any harm if you don't have a Posi.
