Just wanted to share my recent emission test experiance.
It barely passed last year because of Nox, this year it failed. Here's the numbers from when it failed.
High Speed (25mph) rpm :1404 Low Speed 15mph rpm: 2315
Standard/Current Reading_______ Standard/Current Reading

This is what I did to fix it (Some of this probably didnt affect it but it needed to be done):
#1 Replaced cracked exhaust manifold with OEM manifold off a later year model. I bought it off Ebay awhile back for around $50. Not sure what year it came off, but it has the expansion tubes on it.
#2 Replaced Bosch platinum tips with Champion Truck spark plugs.
#3 Ran a whole bottle of RXP on half a tank of gas. This was recommended by the guy who tested the emmisions. Here's a link to there website: <http://www.rxp.com>
#4 Changed oil, I always use Mobil 1 syn, and Fram filters. I know some people hate Fram, but I've never had any problems with them.
#5 Changed Air Filter, and Fuel Filter
Took it in 2 days later and it passed:
