Caught a piece of a story on the local news this morning.
Colorado uses mag-chloride to treat the roads instead of salt. The mag-chloride is apparently deteriorating the aluminum valves/valve stems on cars with tire pressure monitoring systems (post-2007 models iirc). When they fail, it's like just removing the valve core only more sudden.:skull1:
