Installed some cheapo Pepboys rectangular driving lights on my JCR carrier to use as aux reverse lights. They're manually switched so I can use them as utility lights as well:

the switch: Covered to avoid accidental activation:

I also installed a 97+ console... which I had done already. However I got one in much better shape that had the lid the storage compartment and the ash trays so I swapped it. I also modified the front ash tray for my Ipod cable. Trying to figure out how to mount the ipod in it too.

hmmmm....
I feel like I've seen that console before....
:D

looks awesome man!

for the Ipod, think about doing something with a piece of foam with a slit in it to stick the bottom part in, and have the foam all fit (tightly) into the ashtray

that's what I was gonna do with mine.........
but I no longer have an ashtray
:D

Yeah, I was thinking of doing something like that by basically cutting up one of the ebay cupholder ipod holders.

What did you have to do to get that 97+ console in there?

What did you have to do to get that 97+ console in there?

Drill a couple holes for the brackets, change the light socket for the t-case indicator, get rid of the rear air duct, and trim the e-brake slot (this was just so I didn't have to change the whole ebrake system to the 97+)
