I've got a 98 XJ Limited with 70,000 miles.
Why does my Auxillary fan come on every time I switch it from heat to defrost ?
The fan seems to be working right otherwise .. it runs when the a/c is on, and when it is running hot. But when it is less than 32 out, and the engine isn't up to full temp, that aux fan shouldn't be running. As soon as I switch it from defrost back to heat, the fan shuts off.
Anyone know why ? Could it be the fan controller ?
