bought a tj tcase not knowing that the shaft is longer. can i swap out the chain from the tj one to my xj one?

i know the SYE will swap. just wanting to know about the chain.

What shaft is longer? What kind of SYE?

The chain will work they are both 231's.

Did you buy a TC out of a TJ? The TJ 231's are clocked a bit different IIRC.

If you are talking about the same thing, I know folks who have cut off the excess shaft. It should work.
