carpet protection

Any suggestions on how to protect the carpet in the back of my XJ's?
Tired of dog hair,mud, etc.
Am using the plastic "cup" mats ,but still getting hair on wheel wells and seat back.

JC Whittney has a plastic carpet replacement. What the Ford/Chevy/Dodge work trucks have. Hose out, easy to clean. Something to look into. Juice
