Tranny Help???

I can't seem to find a 904 trans. for my 1986, that has a 2.8 for now. I HAVE searched... Trans shops want 500+ junk yards want 250+. Are there any other trans. that will work? I saw a adapter for a TH350. What is my best route?

The 904 was used in the 4 popper from 84 up. It has the same bolt pattern as the v-6. I think I have a second one around but do not know the condition. Also TJ's used the 904 too. It was very commen in xj's and jeeps in general with the 2.5L.

Why don't you call Advance Adapters? If anyone knows what will swap in they would.
