i have a 1987 jeep cherokee i have lifted it 8 inchs front and rear and have it sitting on 35s but my question is with that big of a lift will i be fine with the stock driveshafts! if not is there any cheaper way then spend 500 dollors and driveshafts and sye! it there budget way to do it like from the junk yard and this will just be temp. until i can save for new drive shafts and sye!

wow, you really jumped right into this mess didnt you!?

youll definately wanna do a SYE, however, some people know junkyard driveline tricks...

how are you gunna steer this beast? gears? LA? DB?

8" of lift  Why would you want that much?

Anyways, I don't think there's any way you are avoiding a SYE. You said you already lifted it...have you not tried it?

be very gentle to it and save your $ its easier and cheaper to do it right the first time.you will need theSYE and possibly a xfer drop. how loud is it driving down the road now?
