fuel line question

I'm in the process of relocating my fuel tank and have come across a couple problems I wasn't anticipating. I'm hoping to take care of two birds with one stone here: is there an issue with running rubber fuel hose from the fuel sender to the frame? I need to extend the fuel line to get up to the tank, (up 6"), and I need to turn the fuel tank 180* so the slanted side faces the axle. The only thing I can think of is the rubber hose expanding and causing an inconsistent fuel pressure.

I'm pretty sure if you get fuel injection rated hose, you'll be fine.

I looked into the fuel injection rated hose, it's $6 for per foot than regular fuel hose. Does anyone have any experience with it?
