Alright, here is my situation: I have an 84 2.8L Xj and my clutch just went out.
I was already planning on doing an engine, transmission and transfer case swap as well. Engine, I was looking at a chevy 350 small block, transmission AX-15, and transfer case np231.
So my question is, if I go ahead and get the AX-15, with a new clutch, will that bolt onto my stock 2.8L untill I am ready to do the engine swap? I dont really want to get a brand new clutch for something I am about to rip out any ways and i figure while i am down there go ahead and do the transmission as well.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
