I just installed some "security" lug nuts to my stock 2001 XJ, but I noticed the rear lug nuts have just like 3 threads of engagement to the lugs. Does someone know the nominal size/length of the stock XJ wheel lugs? Mine look very short and I am not feeling comfortable with them. http://www.jeepforum.com/ubb/confused.gif

Three threads is really not enough. You need to get some longer ones. I got some 2" lugs from Summit Racing and cut them to size. For safety, you need at least 6 threads.
