So far it started out real good. I was given the OK to buy an NP241J as my birthday present. Picked it up yesterday.

4:1 low range and it bolts right up. 6 planetary gears, heavier chain set up with SYE from factory. Requires use of 1310-1350 adapter U Joint but its a stocked spicer part. I may have to shorten the drive shafts (run XJ fronts F&R). Its a bigger and stronger transfer case in every way.

Isn't that t-case a NP241OR? The one that comes in the Rubicons?

hop on ebay theres usually one or two.... there a pretty penny or two, little outta my league... esides im doin a doubler... i wanna race dual case yotas in 1st gear :D
