Well the mechanic said my transfer case was bad after some knocking and that's why it was slipping between 2 and 4wd when the 4wd was engaged. Bought a new T-case and what do you know. The front drive line spins but the wheels don't move with the old t-case. So the current T-case apparently works and there was no need to buy the new one. Good deal though it was only $100 bucks. Anyways, I googled and found that it could be a wheel bearing or my hubs? I hear squeaking when I turn at low speeds. Almost like rubbing. I hear a loud squeak also when I brake sometimes. The new brakes didn't solve this problem. So wheel bearings or hubs? How can I tell for sure if it is them and what exactly it is?
