So, is there a production 7 liter engine out there?
GM maybe?
What is the displacement of an LS1?

Ahhhh....got it.
A 'friend' of mine is building a Vegas to Reno 4X using a LS7.
Well, he just told me he was using a 7 liter engine and now I know what
he meant.

LS1 = 5.7 350 bhp, but shares nothing with the old 350 SBC
LS2 = 6.0 400 bhp
LS3 = 6.2 436 bhp
LS7 = 7.0 505 bhp
LS9 = 6.2 S/C 560-640 bhp

The cool thing about the LS7 is despite that fact that's a pushrod 427 ci small block, it'll spin to 7000+ RPM. It's a magical sound...there were a couple at KOH, Rick.

There are also the LQ9, L92 and 5.3 Vortec (spacing on designation) truck motors that are a popular swap.
