will the fenders, hood, and light assembly thing that holds all that from a 2000 XJ fit right onto a 1987 XJ

I believe you need the fenders and header panel, the hood is the same I think. They did this on "Trucks" on Spike.

I did it to my MJ. You just need the header panel and fenders. The old hood will work fine.
