i have a 99 with composite rotor/hub setup, what would be bad about using cast timken bearings? theyre cheaper than the composite ones and the only ones that timken sells it seems. theyre also a newer design, any input would be great... flame on haha

I think they are a different distance between the knuckle mounting surface and the rotor mounting surface. And the caliper bolts to the knuckle and is X distance from the rotor, so if the rotor moves further out or in then the caliper wont have proper orientation to the knuckles caliper mounting arms or the rotor. IF they a different distance, any one got any advice? Im thinking its not going to work :(
