Don't worry, there will be enough there you will be fine. Plus, that should be an incentive to get one before then :D

If there are a few people wanting to run green during the April trip to BL's, I would be more inclined to show up :) And as far as this pig gig, er whatever, I have a gun...I like to shoot it...I also have a CCW (concealed carry weapons permit) Does Illinois honor an Indiana CCW with the exception of Cook county? I'm pretty sure they do.
And this little get together at the BL's sounds like a good time...I like how Stryker called us family!! NAXJA

NO!
There is NO CCW in Illinois.
For those of you coming from out of state:
Non- residents must be legally eligible to possess or acquire firearms and ammunition in their state of residence. It is recommended that, in order to be in compliance with all statutes, non-residents transport all firearms:
Unloaded, and
Enclosed in a case, and
Not immediately accessible or broken down in a nonfunctioning state.

if it tosses lead.
there is a place.
I usually bring everything I have.....shotgun, rifle, and a few little pistols. :D
Of course.....it is really Jims call....it is on his parents property. (really nice folkes BTW)
My policy....if I bring it...you can shoot it.....if you are under 18, you will require your parents permission. Last year a little dude about 10 (I think) shot my single action .44 Mag very well....better then me.

Pretty much anything goes. We haven't had the cops called yet. If we are lucky that might happen this year. JIM.

I always say, "It isn't a party until the cops show up twice!".
Then I say, "Officer, I thought you said you didn't want to come back here."
Then the good times start....

They may have been called & been afraid to show up. I know the neighbors that have asked me about it all said they were kinda nervous about coming over. JIM.

What month does this typically happen in? Don't own a gun (some day...) but I'd still come out and socialize!
