ok not exactly an xj question but what is the difference between MFI ans SFI fuel systems?

MFI stands for Multi-Point Fuel Injected. SFI stands for Single-Point Fuel Injected. Multi-point fuel injection injects fuel into the intake port just upstream of the cylinder's intake valve, rather than at a central point within an intake manifold, referred to as SFI (Single-Point Fuel injection)
