temp light

i iwas out wheeling in my 95 xj and the dumb temp light came on. this only happens when i go slow for long periods at a time. do you guys have any idea what i could do to cure this problem without it costing me an arm and a leg.

do u have an electric fan, and if u do, hook up a switch to turn uit on manually, when u go slow just turn it on.
