fan mounted transmission cooler?

Run a better cooler then you wont need the fan.
 
Where are you running it?

The fan is for mounting it in an area with low airflow i.e. under the vehicle. You don't want to mount it there.
 
I'm thinking of mounting it behind the bumper support like gojeep. So as not to hinder air flow to the engine. As far as running a better cooler than the B&M what would you suggest?
 
Its not the manufacturer,its the type.Plate coolers are way better than tube type.

In my OP. I stayed I ran that cooler on another xj. The B&M 70268 plate style. Its a great cooler if you're going down the road but I want one that will work well while crawling andnot block the radiator.
 
Run that one again, on the radiator. Then wire up your e-fan for manual control.
