Engine temp and fan

Hi all,

I'm a new jeep driver and noticed that my fan is almost always active. The engine temp looks fine (gauge right in the center) even in warm (but also in colder) weather. Is it normal for the fan to be working mostly all the time?

Are you talking about the mechanical fan or electric fan? If it's the mechanical, then yes. If it's the electric, then no.

:lecture: The electric fan will come on when th temp gets high. Or you have your A/C or the defroster turned on.
If it comes on when you first start up cold and the A/C or Def is turned off. Check the realy in the Power dic box under the hood it could be stuck.
