How to change leather interior color?

I found a nice leather rear seat out at the jy and it looks really clean but it is a pre 97 light tan/cream and my interior is a 97 darker tan. I was wondering if there is some way to tint this or stain it to match my interior or just to make it black. I know you can get that vinyl/leather paint but I doubt that paint holds up well?

Try using that kiwi shoe polish stain for dress shoes....I would think that would work for what you need...just let the seats sit in the sun or in front of a heat source to open the pores so the stain will soak in better....but i would not try regular shoe polish.

shoe polish stain will probably come off with moisture and heat, like when your ass starts sweating. I think there are some auto specific dyes out there. Check with a re-upholstry shop.
