hatch conversion

hey all, well i gave up on my great idea for the slanted top conversion...to much time investment for what im looking for. anyways, i went to my local yard today and there is only one 97+ xj and go figure it was crunched from behind leaving the back hatch useless. is there any other model hatch i can use to close in the back where i cut? or am i just SOL until another finally comes in? ive looked at the mj conversion too, but dont really want to do that one...only as a LAST resort..
