Hey gang,
We will be based out of Serrano Campground again this year. It seems to have been good for the past several years.
Reservations can be made on www.recreation.gov We are planning to take over the loop with the sites 103 through 132.
We recommend making reservations ASAP.
Some of those spots are double and you can have 4 vehicles per, while others are regular spots and you can have 2 vehicles per spot.

Probably going to try to bring out both the XJ's and camp, worst case we can sleep in the back of the Jeeps. Besides sand dunes this would be the first time off roading.

Heh, well either way, the campground is just a hop, skip, and a jump from the motel. I guess I could lead you ALL the way out there. =)

Yea but you have that whole see the world in one night time warp thing going for you!!! :lecture:
I have an ex-wife in divorce court, 2 kids that are mental, a house, 50-60 hour a week 1st job, 12-16 hour a week second job, a bible study group, a JEEP and a girlfriend. Makes me tired just typing it out.:gee:
All things being equal you guys dont: smell as good as the girlfriend, work on my house for free or pay any of my bills. Hell I wouldn't even be going if it were not for ICEHAWK as he has been helping me rebuild my junk. Of course that means I will be helping him as well, so I can add to the list "friends with JEEPS"!!!!:wow:

I know the feeling. I'm getting a 3 link, gears, D44, bumpers and sliders, and maybe new steering to install, and I'm worried if it'll all be done in time. Largely because I'm not sure when it'll all make it to my house. :D

You should document your adventure in getting your updates done before the fest!
But (from a guy who knows) you can get a lot done, very quickly, if your deadline is unrealistic!!

He just has to get it running again, it's an 85 with the 2.8.

im planning on attending this event. Bringing myself and my son. DOnt know if anyone one else will com with but im sure ill have fun. Looks like all the campsites near the loop are taken so the motel 6 might be where i stay. either that or drive home on saturday night. I'll see. I still need a CB radio, hi-lift jack and tow strap.

Awesome! There will be several folks doing the one-day trip. If you decide to stay over night, Motel6 is not a bad option. It is older and small. The rooms are clean. It works for a place to stay.

It's looking like I'll have an available site. I rented a double because I had 2 other vehicles planning on coming, then one got hurt and the other, our plans fell through, so it looks like it'll just be my XJ.
EDIT: I'm in 127/128, so if someone needs a space, I have one available, unless some miracle happens and my brother's ride gets fixed or my wife's friend suddenly gets healed. :)
