Factory fog light harness?...

While I was building a bumper for my 99, I noticed a two wire plug fastened to the front crossmember. Is this for the factory fog lights? My 99 didn't come with fog lights, but I am adding aftermarket KC fogs with the bumper.

If it is the fog light harness, does it continue all the way to the dash? What about the relay?

I'd like to use a factory fog switch, and the oem harness would make it cake.

No. The wire plug in the center of the front cross member is for the temp sensor on the optional overhead console.

Fog lamps are not plug and play on the 1997-2001 Cherokee. You need to purchase the JEEP fog lamp install kit that includes the necessary wire harness and parts or just use the wire harness that comes with most fog lamp kits.
